Scalp care/Scalp care during and after treatment

Selecting the ideal shampoo for your period of treatment

While baby shampoo is easy on the scalp, it lacks cleansing power making it a poor match for clearing away sebum. Facial cleanser is also not suitable for your sebum-rich scalp, as it contains numerous moisturizing ingredients. There are many shampoos specifically suited for this period, so we recommend you select one of these.

At Aderans we have a lineup of products that even those with sensitive scalps can use.

This product was developed based on
feedback from nurses working in the medical field!

As you lose your hair it becomes more difficult to create a lather with shampoo and wash your hair and scalp. What's more, directly applying shampooing agents to the scalp when it is in a sensitive state is reported to cause pain and irritation in some patients. By washing with a generous amount of foam, you can easily and gently clean your scalp.

Makeup for eyebrows and eyelashes

During treatment with anticancer medication not just the head but also the eyebrows and eyelashes undergo hair loss. Here, we will teach you how to cover up lost eyebrows and eyelashes.

Makeup for eyebrows

Eyebrows can be drawn by a pencil. If you take a picture of your eybrows' line before hair loss, it can be the refference after hair loss.

Eyelash makeup

Eyelashes can be dealt with using eyeliner or false lashes.

Please be aware that the adhesive on false eyelashes may cause a rash if your immune system is weak. As eyelashes come off easily during hair loss, make sure to cut the lashes shorter than your eye-length before using. Please select an eyelash that is not too voluminous or long.

While eyelashes are also affected by medication, they can be expected to grow back at around 4 to 6 months following treatment; generally in the order of eyelashes, then eyebrows.
